About Sebastian Wyrobisch

Sebastian Wyrobisch, born January 4th 1980, is a drummer from Mannheim/Germany. He began his musical education by studying classical guitar under Walter Barbarino at the age of eight. 

While playing guitar in several local bands he discovered his passion for drums. Being influenced by artists like Steward Copeland, Danny Carey and David Garibaldi he started as a self taught drummer at the age of 21. Between 2006 and 2011 Sebastian enrolled at various professional educating programs (Xtreme Drumcamp I and II, Professional Program at the Modern Music School) studying under artists like David Garibaldi, Ray Luzier, Benny Greb, Dom Famularo, George Kollias, Walfredo Reyes Jr., Steve Alexander, Andreas Latzko and Ralf Gottlieb.

Ever since he has been working as a freelance studio drummer and drum teacher. His recent releases include German rock band "Gloomball" debut album "The Distance" (released worldwide through SPV/Steamhammer) and Matthew Shell's single "Genesis" which also featured Grammy nominee Arun Shenoy from Singapore.
